How and when did you join HAVI Logistics?
I joined HAVI Logistics (former Italog) on November, 11th in 1996, answering to a newspaper job advertisement.
Before, I worked in different market sectors: food, editorial and industrial.
Please describe your internal job history at HAVI Logistics
My first job at HAVI Logistics was in the Finance Department. After one year Pietro Rizzo (my current boss) proposed to me to become his Assistant. At that time Pietro was Finance Director and in the following years I continued to work with him. Today I support Pietro in the role of the Assistant to the Managing Director.
Which experiences have you made working at HAVI Logistics?
When I started to work in HAVI Logistics there were only few people and even now it still feels like a family... I was here during the big growth of the McDonald’s business (and also of HAVI Logistics!) in Italy. I feel a strong belonging to HAVI Logistics. Of course I also like my job very much, and I have a great relationship with my colleagues and my boss.
What does your work day look like?
My working day is never boring. I have the opportunity to get in touch with many people, and to have a multi-tasking activity. Every day is different, challenging and, why not, stimulating!
What makes working at HAVI Logistics special/What motivated you to choose a career inside HAVI Logistics?
I think that the HAVI Logistics Group has to be appreciated for the great attention to the employees that work here. It is difficult to find companies with the same attention to people. Regarding my position I have the opportunity to work on different areas and projects, and this strongly motivates me to reach my targets and to give my personal contribution to the company. …I also have a family, two little boys and it is not easy to arrange everything, every day …but this is a challenge that I’m ready to face and tackle! Luckily HAVI Logistics provides me with the necessary support to manage my family and my job successfully! HAVI Logistics offers a trusted flexitime model which makes it very easy to cope with all daily hassles.
